Unlock your musical potential by learning the language of music with Meadowlark Voice Studio! We offer weekly personalized instruction in reading music (beginner level) and music theory (Intermediate level), tailored to individual students needs and musical background. Lessons are available both online through zoom and in person. Tuition is charged monthly for weekly lessons and varies based on lesson length. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM LESSONS: The curriculum we use in music theory lessons is called "From Singer to Musician", and was authored by me. This curriculum is specifically designed with singers in mind and includes sight singing elements and vocal applications. Weekly private music theory lessons begin with a review of the previous weeks lesson and homework assignment. Next, new information is taught and applied to prepare for the upcoming weeks assignment. I believe that music theory can be fun to learn and I use rhythm games, desk bells, piano, and whiteboard exercises to help students engage with the lessons.
